Marketing That Moves the
Business Forward
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of marketing strategy, sales, and business development—primarily within manufacturing, distribution, and other complex B2B environments.
My strength is bringing clarity and structure to complicated marketing challenges. I look beyond individual campaigns to understand the business problem, identify the opportunity, build the strategy, and connect execution to measurable results.
That can mean developing a go-to-market strategy, launching a new product or brand, improving demand generation, building a marketing operation across multiple businesses, analyzing performance data, or finding a better way to connect marketing investment with revenue.

How I Approach Marketing
The strongest marketing organizations do more than produce campaigns. They understand where the business is going, identify what stands in the way, and build the strategy, systems, and programs needed to move it forward.
My approach is built around three strengths.

Transformation
I enjoy finding opportunities to make marketing work better—whether that means repositioning a brand, introducing a new product, improving a customer journey, adopting new technology, or challenging an established process.
Transformation starts by asking a simple question: Is there a better way to do this?

Strategy
I translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans. That means understanding the customer, market, sales organization, channel partners, competitive environment, and financial realities of the business—then building a strategy that connects them. The goal isn’t simply more marketing activity. It’s making sure marketing is focused on the opportunities that matter most.

Insights
Data should help answer business questions, not just fill dashboards. I use performance data, customer behavior, revenue attribution, market intelligence, and financial analysis to understand what is working, identify opportunities, and make better decisions about where marketing resources should go next.

What Colleagues Say
I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside talented leaders, sales teams, marketers, manufacturers, distributors, agencies, and vendor partners throughout my career.
What I value most in those relationships is collaboration—bringing people together around a business challenge and finding a way to move it forward.
★★★★★
Mark is an extremely organized professional with a lot of creativity. Mark and I worked together at BMD where he helped our team build a new website, create a new logo, establish a tagline, and put together marketing to tie it all together. Mark organized customer events, built new literature and partnered with our sales team to create material that they used to deliver sales presentations. After leaving BMD I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mark as a vendor partner. He makes it easy for us to partner with his company on building our brand as well as theirs. Mark is a pro and more important a great partner. Thanks for all your help over the years.
